For anyone going down this road, do not rivet the left forward skin until you install your fuel system.
With the Andair fuel pump, it's necessary to fabricate a bracket to support it. I used some 1 inch aluminum cut to size for the frame, a piece of scrap aluminum for the mount and massged it until the fuel valve was securely fastened.
Once I was satisfied with the bracket, it was removed, deburred, cleaned and primed where it was riveted to the support, but not the aux longeron yet. I'll do that once the skin is on. Nutplates for a #8 screw were installed on the fuel valve itself.
I then modified the cover to accept the hole for the top of the valve. After cleaning, priming, I then painted it with the colout I have chosen for theinterior. It's a dark metallic steel. It's really not that dark and it goes on nicely.
What's great about the Andair valve is that you can change the fittings clock position to assist in the running of the fuel lines.
